POI
Giulia Soldati

Poi is a pestle with a strongly organic physicality, inspired by a traditional Polynesian tool used to pound boiled taro, a root vegetable.
The object stems from the idea of generating a rhythm and repetition of gestures in the home during food preparation, transforming it into a ritual that brings the user closer to the ingredients, their history, their cultures and their origins, through the rediscovery of the act of eating in a contemporary key.
